Outcome 2: Multiple Ways of Writing

"Students will be able to purposefully integrate multimodality, multiple languages, and/or multiliteracies into writing products to support their goals."

In my coursework, different styles of writing are seen depending on each assignment's different goals. An example of this can be seen in the assignments leading up to Paper 3, with many of them involving my response to Kevin Bales' The Slave Next Door.

Reading Response 6 did not have a strongly defined prompt, but it was meant to help with finding a direction in which to aim our research. Because of this, I wrote directly about concerns I had with the text which seemed useful for guiding further research.

This is again brought up in my Research Proposal, but there it is with a greater focus on establishing the concepts' relevance and transitioning into what they are and why I think their inclusion in the conversation would be meaningful.
