Outcome 6: Revision

"Students will be able to negotiate differences in and act with intention on feedback from readers when drafting, revising, and editing their writing."

When I have spent hours or days writing something, it is difficult if not impossible to read and experience it like someone else would. It is easy to not notice that a particular piece of information is unclear when it is already in my head, or that a section of the text would benefit from further elaboration, so asking for feedback from readers and considering its implementation is essential. While I did revisions for all 3 research papers, my most significant efforts took place between the research proposal, initial draft and final draft of Paper 3, partly in response to feedback posted by the course's professor.

In response to the initial feedback, I clarified that my proposal would be considered a single solution, but one that would require different methods depending on where it is being implemented and where activists would have different roles to take depending on whether they are working in their local community or not. In respond to the second piece of feedback, I expanded the section detailing government implementation to be specific about the changes in government action which might be needed for implementing this solution.

This is pretty much the end of my portfolio. Thank you for reading! Soon after typing this I will probably send its link to some friends and family, since this also would benefit from reader feedback.

Special thanks to Ide:
